P-51D AI attacks only once with GUNS (DCS 1.5)

I tried to update one of my P-51D missions and discovered that the AI aircraft did not attack with GUN. I created a simple test mission and the AI attacks with GUNS the first time and continues the attack runs but does not shoot. Is this known? Did not find any post in the P-51 forum.
