I noticed last night that when the aircraft or helis are starting I get severe frame drops. Once they are started and flying they go back to normal. As you can see my system is very good and I always stay locked at 60fps (my refresh rate) I even tested sitting at an airfield with 20 static aircraft and 20 Abrams tanks all doing circles around in front of my a-10 with all systems running and I never dip below 60 fps.

But if I put two helis in front of me and nothing else when they start up my frames dip to 40-42 and they once they are flying they go back up to 60. I dont know why the startup would cause a frame dip?? Just an observation. I dont know if its a bug or just the game itself.

How DCS uses the resources of our computer is the strangest.. Think for a moment that during the startup the CPU should make more calculations or whatever.. if the cpu core that handles DCS is at 100 % the fps should fall because there is a bottleneck here.. but in my case the fps fall and the CPU and GPU usage still the same.. so the engine is not using correctly the computer resources..

And yes, the mods should merge the topics, but nobody cares about this issue at this moment.. maybe is a known bug and is fixed in the new version.. who knows..
