Looks like the F-16V had it's first flight. Too bad the US probably won't be upgrading to it.

Well it's all or nothing for the 35. There's no turning back. It HAS to succeed. Optimizing the 16 would undermine the 35. In a perfect world we'd SLEP all of the legacy fighters force-wide while simultaneously committing to the go with the 35.

 

It almost reminds me of the Grand National and the Vette. GM did such a phenomenal job with the Grand National that people were putting a few grand into it and it was crushing the Vette. So they stopped producing the National.
