Gudgey Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) Hi all I have installed DCS World 1.5 and updated it to the latest version, and I'm now trying to install the A-10C module. I downloaded the module from the DCS website, but when trying to run the .exe it says: 'DCS World 1.2.15.43180 must be installed.' ....So, I moved the A-10C.exe into the D:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin folder, and tried ti install it from the CMD line, but when I run this command: 'DCS_Updater.exe install A-10C_1.2.16.43180.9-9.exe' .....the installation begins, but then this error message appears: 'sorry, web-installs are temporarily suspended. Use the full installer, please.' ....I click on 'Okay' and the installation closes. I thought I was using the full installer? I've tried running from the command prompt and double clicking the Updater.exe? Any ideas how I get a round this? Thanks. Edited October 25, 2015 by BIGNEWY

Gudgey Posted October 24, 2015 Author Posted October 24, 2015 Hi Gudgey do not download the modules from the website, they are still the release version. use the module manager in game. Thanks for replying so quickly. When I use the module manager in game, I select 'Buy' on the A-10 module and then it opens up a webpage and I select 'download', but I'm sure that this is the same page that I downloaded the .exe from? I don't have a login for DCS as I've never purchased anything directly. My copy of A-10 is an early one on a DVD. I've installed that, but that loads directly into A-10C and not DCS World. Because I have never purchased anything directly, I have no account to login to from the DCS menu screen. I though that I'd be able to create one, download the module and then if required enter my serial number?
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted October 24, 2015 ED Team Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) OK Please register here http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/ you can then bind your A-10c key to your account by using the License check on your profile page once that is done you can login in game and it will download your A-10c Edited October 24, 2015 by BIGNEWY Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
