So which preset AWACS goes to if I want to get vectoring? And frequency on AWACS properties?

I tried both Bort# frequency and set frequency to no effect.

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

Ok, it seems to not work, even with GCI.

OK I got it working. Again, it is the occasional radio bug...

Here is what I did:

1- Open the mission. Erase all player controlled craft or group.

2- Erase AWACS.

3- Create player unit or group. Do not adjust radio frequenz.

4- Create AWACS. At waypoint zero (icon), open actions, under AWACS-? create new action/perform command/Set frequenz to XX.YY where XX is above 38 and YY is decimals.

5- Copy this to own craft radio, in channel 2 (your flight).

6- Save and Enjoy

It would be nice when we get the WWII maps if they model the Axis/allied radar systems with realistic ground control. I'm sure the data is out there and I remember in the Ho-229 documentary they used certain settings to replicate allied radar systems of WWII to see its stealth characteristics.

Yet to test GCI but sure why not.
