Hey dudes I created some missions in my editor and noticed that the lines that connect the waypoints never show up like in the main missions. Does that mean anything bad? Im not sure how to make them appear. Does it even matter?

are you sure that the steerpoint switch below the CDU is on flight plan mode?

Normally the STEER PT should be placed at FLT PLAN(Flight Plan), so that the flight route and waypoint can be displayed in the TAD.

When it is placed in MISSION, all of the waypoint which include the waypoint generated in ME and created manually by the pilot in mission(such as a target point received from JTAC) and the divert airfields will be displayed in TAD, but the flight routed would not displayed.

The MARK position is used to display the mark points

There is also a setting on the TAD that will turn off Flight Plan lines, but I think that is usually on by default, and is set automatically on system startup. Worth a check though.

It is important to know that just because knob is "WP / MARK / FLT PLN" position it doesn't mean that it is true. Every time the knob is moved that generates an event to kick the waypoint pool into the mode.

But if you set MARK on this knob and then change to waypoint pool with UFC it will be in waypoint pool but knob will be in mark position.
