Luftwoller Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) Hi all, I was just wondering if there was a good reference source for a lot of the weapons in DCS. I've been playing a while now and still consider myself a bit of a noob. It would be great if there was a quick way to tell you what the weapon your about to arm your plane/ Heli was! What altitude/speed it should be launched/dropped and what it's effective range was? Perhaps this could be a thing for ED to address. Maybe by having a Tab in the arm/rearming screen that could do this. Only a thought, ...Guy Edited November 13, 2015 by Luftwoller Grammar Helicopters!! grunf Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 How good is your german? http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1363666/ This looks like a great info, and considering who wrote it, it's no surprise. Unfortunately my german sucks. Maybe someone could translate it? :D
v81 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 1st place to start is the manual if you haven't already. I've found the Ka-50 and A-10C manuals to cover the specifications you mention reasonably well. They might be missing a little detail here or there, in which case i google a bit. Anything specific you wanted to know? R7 3800X - 32Gig RAM -- All SSD -- GTX1070 -- TM Warthog, MFG Crosswinds & TiR

Anything specific you wanted to know? Ive just been after a decent place to start for references to different weapons. Its all well and good when your not 'In game' you can browse to you hearts content, its just when your in a mission and you want to choose the best ordinance for the job. Some times you cant tell if the weapon is radar guided, what its effective target is, range etc etc I found this excellent reference for the Su-25 in steam, https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=335149944 Still looking for more, ...Guy Helicopters!!
