Autoupdater: "HTTPS failed"

Found this by accident when browsing the installation directory: in the last - at least two - patches, the autoupdate_log.txt states the following:

 

ERROR: HTTPS failed with curl error (51): SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK

INFO : Switching to plain HTTP.

Known issue,

 

If it is stopping you updating go to

 

Windows date time and settings > regional settings > change your location in the world>

update dcs > change your region back.
