Looking for informal group to fly the A-10C

Hi

I am 45 y/o and looking for either an informal squadron or friendly bunch to fly the A-10C with. I have been using the ED Products since Lomac in 2003 on and off and although experienced am rusty.

I am not looking for a Squadron that has a leader and pretend to talk to an imaginary ATC, but a bunch of guys who get a mission and do the mission using first names on comms!! :)

PM if interested.

I am interested as well. I'm 21 and have been into aviation my entire life. I've been flying the A10C for about 2 years now and I'm no pro but I can hold my own. I've been looking for a good group of people to fly with and just have fun.

Check out the 75th VFS. They're a good bunch of guys. They primarily fly the A-10C, but some guys fly the A-10A and UH-1 as well.

Their senior folks know quite a bit about the A-10C and have no problem with teaching you some tricks (in fact, Striker enjoys it). They don't have a "command hierarchy" prevalent in a number of squadrons, but their goal is to fly well and have fun.

They may use "Enfield" callsigns in lieu of personal names/callsigns, but that's mainly when you get big enough groups that the tactical callsign is important. They also do the ATC thing, but only when a person is on LotATC, and that makes it quite a bit of fun.

My group flies with them once a week whenever possible. I would give them a look.
