OnlyforDCS Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 vctpil, are those PC specs in your signature accurate? Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted November 27, 2015 ED Team Posted November 27, 2015 vctpil, are those PC specs in your signature accurate? I had not noticed that, incase those specs are it maybe worth noting the system requirments for DCS Minimum system requirements: OS 64-bit Windows 7/8/10; DirectX11; CPU: Core i3; RAM: 8 GB; Free hard disk space: 30 GB; Video: 2 GB RAM card, DirectX11 - compatible; requires internet activation. Recommended system requirements: OS 64-bit Windows 7/8/10; DirectX11; CPU: Core i5+; RAM: 16GB; Hard disk space: 30 GB; Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX780 / ATI R9 290 DirectX11 or better; Joystick; requires internet activation. vctpil Posted November 27, 2015 Author Posted November 27, 2015 Yes, I have not updated my signature yet. On this old config, I had the same problem solve by repairing C++2010. And by the way, DCS 1.5 and the L-39 was working perfectly, very fluid. IAMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12x 3.7 to 4.8Ghz - 32Go DDR4 3600Mhz - GeForce RTX 3080 - Samsung Odyssey G7 QLED - AIMXY

sFalcon Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 (edited) Already tried this solutions? http://www.techcrises.com/how-to/how-to-fix-error-code-0xc000007b-in-windows-7-8-8-1/ Also, try installing at C:\Games instead of C:\Program Files\ And disabling UAC might help Edited November 29, 2015 by sFalcon [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] _______ sFalcon.
ZaltysZ Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Get 64 bit dependency walker: http://www.dependencywalker.com/ Open dcs.exe with it check list of DLLs it depends on. There is a CPU column in middle section, and it should say x64 in every row. If not, you will likely have misplaced 32 bit DLL - such things happen with some old/bugged (not DCS) installers. Also, it will show if you have any missing dependencies (some of them, like API-whatever can be safely ignored though). Work from there. Wir sehen uns in Walhalla.
vctpil Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 Hi, I tried something different this morning. I made a fresh installaton of DCS 1.5. I start the launcher WITHOUT updating it, and... it works! So I left the soft and start again to update in 1.5.1.47285.107, and it works. After that, I uninstall everything, clean everything, and install again with the update, without launching the soft before the update. Then, the error 0xc00007b appears! strange, isn't it?
