We currently have four relatively-modern Russian radios in-game.

However, there are inconsistencies in both channel ranges and click/dial behavior that don't make sense to me.

First, dial behavior:

3 radio systems currently show increasing channel numbers as the dial rotates clockwise. These are the R-828 (Ka-50), R-832M (L-39C), and the R-832 (MiG-21bis).

However, they appear to be backwards in the Mi-8. Both the R-863 and R-828 radios in the Mi-8 show increasing channel numbers as the dials rotate counter-clockwise. The clockwise movement decreases the channel number.

Second, channel ranges:

I find it weird the MiG-21 would implement a channel 0-19 range for their R-832, while every other Russian radio in the game starts at channel 1. (Channels 1-20 for the R-863 and R-832M, and 1-10 for the R-828 ). Is this a real setup for this one radio, that it starts at channel 0?

Third, click behavior:

In the Mi-8, Ka-50, and L-39C, a right click of the mouse generates a clockwise movement of the dial. A left click of the mouse generates a counter-clockwise movement.

This is backwards in the MiG-21, whereby a left click moves the radio channel selector clockwise, and a right click adjusts the dial counter-clockwise.

Summary:

L-39C and Ka-50 both seem implemented correctly.

MiG-21 has the mouse inputs relative to dial direction backwards, plus the radio should start at channel #1 instead of #0.

Mi-8 has the mapping of dial turns to channel increase/decrease backwards.

Anyone else notice this and agree or disagree? (I have no RL experience in these aircraft so can't "prove" that anything is wrong)
