AI trigger doesnt activate

I setup a flight of F18s....selected uncontrolled and then on the triggers I setup once -> time more than 120 -> group activate (f18s) and they show on the tarmac but do not activate after 120 seconds. Am I missing something?

 

I tried the "once" and the "mission start" activation with same result.

You are confusing late activation with uncontrolled starts. Late activation means the group hasn't spawned yet and you are forcing it to spawn. Uncontrolled starts have the aircraft spawned but the AI hasn't been started yet. If you don't see a pilot in the cockpit, then the aircraft is set to uncontrolled.

 

Late Activation or setting the start time to a later value than the current time is what the 'Group Activate' trigger is for.

 

What you need to do is go to triggered actions for the group and add the command "Start". And then in the triggers choose AI Push Task, and select the command you just added. Triggered actions are the tab to the right of the payload selection.
