Pineapple Pete Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Hi All, While messing about on DCS I find that I do not have installed on my computer what I need to open .trk files, or .lua files for that matter. I checked on line but Microsoft didn't offer any help. Can any one give me any insight? Thanks It is always best to not fly too fast or fly too slow. So I fly half fast. :D
Grimes Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Track files are opened by DCS. Track files are basically mission files with a lot of extra data added, so you can open it within missions, replays, or the mission editor. Lua files are just text files. Should be able to open them with notepad, but I'd recommend notepad++ or really any other decent text editor. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
