Cougar with U2 NXT Mod available

Guys,

 

I have a TM Cougar setup with Ian's Uber 2 NXT gimbal mod, I have available and decided to sale. I used this setup for probably around 4-5 years off and on.

 

Some comments on this setup:

The joystick is equipped with IJ's U2 NXT gimbal mod. You have to feel the smoothness to really appreciate it. It also has been equipped with Hall Sensors as well. I have a few spare springs I will send with it also, assuming I can find them lol. The springs can eventually wear and break over time.

 

The throttle is equipped with Hall Sensor as well. No more spiking pots there either. In addition, it has Cub Pilot's anti-stiction mod installed in it. Makes for very smooth transition of the throttle. Also, it has IJ's aluminum speed brake and dogfight switch housings installed.

 

Also, in addition - I have an additional throttle unit I will throw in with it - it too has been modified with the Hall Sensor and anti-stiction mod. For some reason I am thinking one of the buttons may be a little iffy, can't really remember for sure. It would be good as a backup, or even for spare parts if ever needed.

 

As much as I loved this setup, I have decided to sell it so maybe some Cougar lover might get good use of it. I have had the Warthog for some time now, and am just going to stay with it. They are different animals for sure, each with their own benefits, but the Warthog is what I will stay with. I know some love the Cougar and not so much the Warthog.

 

I was initially going to put this on Ebay, but decided I would post this here first as I know many on this forum are familiar with this setup with the U2 NXT mod and hall sensors and can appreciate it.

 

If anyone is interested, just PM me and we can discuss. I really would prefer if possible keeping it within the U.S., mostly because I am just not familiar with shipping outside of the U.S., but if someone really wants it we can discuss.
