Hi Pilots,

I have a problem updating to 1.5.2. I have installed 1.5.1 on two laptops, not that I get great performance but right now these are the only thing I can use till I get a good system for DCS and Xplane.

My problem is when updating on one laptop which shows me a download size of 229 MB and it starts to download but once it reaches 180 MB it crashes and gives a fault module. I tried repairing DCS but even after that it is the same. There are no modules or add ons on this laptop.

Now the other thing is on the other laptop when updating to 1.5.2 it shows a download size of 1.3 GB now this is confusing but on that laptop I have the Mig 21 and the F 86 installed.

Both the laptops have DCS 2.0 installed along side 1.5.

Kindly help me sort this out.

HOPE THIS IS IN THE RIGHT SECTION.

The sun is stunning in DCS 1.5 the best I have ever seen in a sim

Hi Iron,

I look forward to see any suggestions. I believe you have already tried running the updater from an "elevated" command line with

DCS_updater.exe update ( I believe this is the right syntax / command ? )

Any updates to 1.5 and 2.0 now start torrenting the files. I wonder if some AV or FW software you're using might be interfering ?

You're not alone...

BTW: Try posting also at that other forum sub-section, which is dedicated to Install problems & bugs...

EDIT: What about:

# DCS_Updater.exe update 1.5.2

and... just in case, are you sure you do not have this problem ?

problem after update

Hello, since the last update of DCS World 1.5, in the mission editor , when I click on the icon to open a file , the icon turns blue but nothing works . I can not open my mission file.

If I created a new mission everything is OK, I record everything is OK, but if I want to open it again; the icon turns blue and no job.

With DCS World 1.2, the file open icon turns blue too, but the work is OK and I can play the mission.

thanks for your help

Hey jose,

You know what I solved that 229MB download.

What I did was I deleted the _downloads/torrents/* contents and re-updated :)

I will update later tonight on the other laptop which is asking for 1.3 GB download.

fuel leakage

Hi Pilots,

I noticed 2 bugs in fuel leakage. My experience with Su-25 (1.52) is follows:

1) I´ve lost all of my fuel - engines stops, but the white smoke was there, even after 90 km gliding.

2) I've managed to get to the airport and stopped at the apron. The smoke was there, but the fuel should be liquid, there is no reason to be vaporized.
