SnowTiger Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 I apologize in advance if this has already been reported and/or addressed. I could not find anything to do with this topic anywhere (Searched ALL Forums). I have created a simple Single Player Mission in DCS 1.5 Open Beta for BS2. In both the Main DCS World Options and in my Mission Options, I have F10 view options checked (i.e. Turned ON). In the mission, I have selected "Fog of War" but it does not seem to be working. I have the Enemy Vehicles Hidden (mission editor). When I find the enemy using the Shkval (and sometimes mark their positions), should this not now show those found enemies on the F10 Map ? OR do we actually have to fly over the target .. which ends the mission because I get killed !! OR must we fly within a specified distance of the enemy for them to be "found" on the F10 Map ? If it's any of the latter, it's useless. It seems to me that if you find them (either close enough to eye-ball them) or if you scan and/or lock'em up, that this should be considered "Found/Located" and therefore they should now be visible in F10 until they are killed. So far, I have yet to see ANY Enemies on the F10 Map no matter what I do, including flying right over them until they kill me .. which takes only a few seconds ! Please > Any incite into this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance. dooom Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 dont set the vehicles to hidden. I am pretty sure FOW just requires line of sight from a friendly unit to show up on F10. I never set hidden in F10. ASUS Tuf Gaming Pro x570 / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X @ 3.8 / XFX Radeon 6900 XT / 64 GB DDR4 3200 "This was not in the Manual I did not read", cried the Noob" - BMBM, WWIIOL
