ScEBlack1 Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 How do i make it so the chat leaves my screen after a few seconds. While online when people talk the chat doesnt go away at all it just fills up my screen and is a pain, is there a way to make it so it goes away after a few seconds?
S77th-konkussion Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 jess- do you have the chat window itself open? Mine only shows like 3 lines max at a time (window closed) and maybe... 7 or 8 lines when the chat window is opened? I would surmise there is an adjustment for this as you can certainly turn off the event chat simply by changing the text size to zero.. S77th-konkussion Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 I have to turn the floor over to someone else- I'm at work (no LOMAC here for some reason...:P) Plus I can't find stuff in the subfolders as quickly as others. I can find stuff given enough time, but not here.. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]

FVMAD Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 or you can edit LOFC\Config\Network\config.lua with notepad find it there: chat { height = 95; delay = 10000; }; height = 95 - of chat window in pixels from the top of the screen; delay = 10000 - duration in milliseconds till one line will disappear. 1
