Steam compromised- please read within

HI All, No idea where to post this but looks like Steam has been compromised-

 

please check FIRST

 

 

 

Main point is don't interact with steam at the moment even logging out as it looks like the caching mechanism has been the target-

Update should be issued: The accounts were never compromised, credit cards information etc were in safe.

 

The small group of people only managed to view cached profile from other players and couldn't purhace, transfer, sell or do anything. Credit cards only had few last digits visible as well.

 

The real problem is that valve hasn't announced publically widely that there were no security breach.
