DarkHoliday Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Thank you for the new missions for dcs its super awesome. I really love your work its a really epic campaign. If i find any bugs or anything ill let you know here. The A-10c is an epic jet and im very happy its getting more attention. If i had to make a suggestion: Please consider allowing the missions to be played in 2 player like in Georgian hammer I could play with a real wingman in that by editing in the mission editor then playing in multiplayer. But hey either way really enjoying the work ty hope to see more campaigns and missions from you in the future DarkHoliday
baltic_dragon Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Hey, Many thanks for kind words! As for making it 2-player coop campaign, there are two problems. First is that not all missions are suitable for coop play (because they would be plain boring, like M1 or because there is only one slot to begin with). But I think more important thing is that the campaign uses more realistic "radio transmission" for all the radio comms, which means that you have to be tuned in to specific frequency. Unfortunately, this is still bugged in MP mode, and quite often clients won't hear any radio transmissions at all. So in order to make it playable I would have to redo all the missions using "sound to" triggers, which are in turn less realistic. TBH, I am currently working on a few different projects which consume a lot of my time (check my signature for more details) and just won't have time to overhaul the whole campaign. Still, what I am planning to do is to run a poll here on the forums for players to pick 5 missions they would like to see most in MP mode and release these separately. However, I don't exclude coop mode in the future campaigns I am working on if the radio transmission bug is fixed. Once again, thanks for kind words and enjoy the campaign!
