Jimbo1606688299 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 As stated , do these two work yet as i cant seem to deploy either , thanks
grunf Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Speed brakes work, but only the on/off toggle key. The chute is not yet implemented.
Jimbo1606688299 Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 Thank you will reconfigure speed brakes ,and wait for chute development . kind regards
Agg Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Will the chute be implemented? I know it's not standard operating procedure for the Mirage 2000 to use the chute while landing, but seeing as they do have them I think it should be implemented into the DCS model as well.

Actually, given its fast approach and landing speeds, I would think the chute is quite often used by Mirage pilots, especially with shorter runways. I've heard that is not the case since aero-braking is very effective. Of course, in emergencies or in very short runways that is another issue. What do you mean by fast landing speed? I touch down at 120-140 as normal producere, but Can land at even lower speed, by aggressive flare The plane, and aero brake with its wings..... (Beware tail strike) I approach The runway at 165-200..... I have no idea if this is correct handling of the plane, but it seems ok.....
