VTJS17_Fire Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Hi, if I start from Senaki (Blacksea map, DCS World open beta 1.5) and set the TACAN to 44X I got the signal from Kutaisi. The HSI shows about 10 NM from Senaki (ground, parking 2) to Kutaisi TACAN. After that distance I'm direct above Kutaisi. But: In the F10 map and mission editor, it reads 19,98 NM with the measurement tool. So, where is the bug? In the HSI or in the measurement tool? And yes, I set imperial in my options. Flagrum Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I can confirm this. It seems that HSI distance is always half of the actual distance. In my case: Kobuleti - Kutaisi on map ~ 30 nm, on HSI 15 odd nm
Aginor Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I also noticed that something is weird about it. I think the aircraft actually displays kilometers instead of nautical miles (wrong by a factor of 1.8 ) or something like that. DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
