35 us for plane 49 us for terrain so for over 100 Canadian i can play with one plane seems kind of steep.or do you get terrain when you buy a plane.and i only see one terrain to purchase.am i looking in the wrong place

DCS World comes with free terrain, so if its too much, you could wait and purchase the NTTR terrain later.

The Alpha is for testing the NTTR terrain, so no, it wont have the free terrain that comes with DCS until it moves to Open Beta.

 

You can install the release version which is 1.5.2.

 

That is where you should start.

Yes, the latest release of the full version of DCS World is 1.5.2, and is now available to download free of charge.

 

The Alpha is currently just a test platform for bug reporting, and it requires the purchase of the NTTR map.

 

There are 2 free modules, and if you want to add more, that's when you need to start shelling out the money. I'd recommend the A-10C as the first purchase you make, and then you'll see why they aren't cheap.

 

You can certainly get by without NTTR initially, but don't blame us if you end up spending a lot more. It is addictive!
