ruddy122 Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Hi everyone I don't know if this is a possible bug but would the MK82 Lo Drag bombs be set to CCIP and the MK82 Snakeyes set to CCRP? I think the module has them reversed Love the jet Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] LUCKY:pilotfly::joystick: Computer Specs CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz| GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6Gb | RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @ 3000 MHz | OS: Win 10 64 bit | HD: 500 Gb SSD

ruddy122 Posted December 31, 2015 Author Posted December 31, 2015 That's fine if that is how they designed the Mirage I'm starting to learn air to ground on the jet and I didn't know you can employ the MK82 Snakeye in CCIP Still trying to master the gun but having a great time training with this jet Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] LUCKY:pilotfly::joystick: Computer Specs CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz| GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6Gb | RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @ 3000 MHz | OS: Win 10 64 bit | HD: 500 Gb SSD
Aginor Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 To be honest: I hate it. For me it should be exactly the other way round. Normal Mk-82s in CCIP, high-drag ones in CCRP. Cluster bombs with CCIP is ok. That way you could make nice pop-up attacks with Mk-82s, which is not comfortably possible right now. I use cluster bombs all the time becasue of that. If it is that way in real life.... meh. I guess it is correct to have it in DCSW that way as well. I just don't understand it. DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet

I dunno what Dassault was driving at with some of the design decisions, such as the CCRP mode, limited armament, low flare count and so on. I love it but hate a couple things about it that limit some of its mission effectiveness
PiedDroit Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 (edited) Keep in mind that currently the CCRP is not fully implemented. You don't have accurate range measurement nor automatic delivery. It will get much easier later, point, lock, change attitude (for a dive, level or toss delivery) then auto-drop. It's just not fully useable atm. Only profile where CCIP is desirable is when attacking low and fast. Which makes sense for snake-eyes and belouga when you think about it, those bombs are not accurate when dropped from high level anyway. Edited January 1, 2016 by PiedDroit
