M2K Sneak Around The Back - mission .

Blue Coalition is on the back foot due to political instability . The situation is now critical and its all too little too late , leaving our forces vulnerable to attack and possibly losing control of the whole region altogether . We are outnumbered and in need of urgent supplies and airframes !

 

 

Luckily for us Red coalition is spread thin , and according to our intel , needs logistical supplies urgently . The chess game has never been so tight yet so open . It is time for Blue coalition to be resourceful and make the best of what they have ! Its time for action . We believe they have a supply delivery inbound . Senaki is too close to the front line so our intel suggests Kutaisi is the place to be .

 

We have 4 M2K airframes on station fully supplied and ready to go . Its a dangerous mission but a risk we must take to help secure the region . If this mission fails we have lost to the Reds and significant political gains will be dead in the water . The runway must go down !

 

4 Mirage 2000C will take off from Sukhumi and fly through the mountains north and head towards Kutaisi . Fly with radar and rwr off and low , so as not to spook the CAPS . We believe they have Mig29's and Su27's in the area . Also be aware of small pockets of Red Coalition forces along the route , so be vigilant . There may be Manpads and other surface to air threats , so keep your eyes open . Fly the waypoints and stay low! Command suggests a 5nm pop up attack on to the runway to avoid the air defences but we suspect Mig 29's may be on your tail . Do what you must to get home . Intel suggests there might be a major refueling operation going on which might , just , play into our hands .

 

If this mission succeeds we will have time to re-supply our base and create a new foothold in the region , and help bring stability to the indigenous people .

GOOD SCENARIO FOR AN ATTACK MISSION :pilotfly:

 

I could not have the AI wingmen to Attack :(,

so I took the liberty to modify slightly the mission (using MIST Scripting tool):book:

 

4 AI M2000c + 1 PLAYER M2000c

so that you can also test your formation flying skills following them.:joystick:

 

(I forced these to ignore ennemies and forbid a/a engagement to make sure they keep ordnance):doh:

 

4 M2000-5 as an escort against ennemies :gun_sniper:

 

The Sa18 ManPads are now randomly positionned around the airfield each mission :juggle:

 

The Mig29 have 90% chance appearance and they have missiles

 

The SU27 have 75% chance appearance and they have missiles

 

A few Eye Candies on attacked airfield

(men and helicopters on the runway plus one helicopter taking off when you arrive at initial point)

 

I included the marvelous suppression fire script so that if you strafe the AAA you can suppress it while your AI flight is attacking...

(the suppressed AAA will stop attacking for a little while) :wacko:
