Ashilta Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Hello team, I flew a number of ILS approaches yesterday and ran into a couple of bugs which I've reported, however it struck me that there appears to be no 'conventional' indication of localiser and glidepath on the approach. Are these not yet modelled, or in fact not present in the Mirage? Ashilta
spiddx Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 According to the manual there should be yellow indicator needles on the ADI, but they aren't working properly at the moment as far as I have seen. TomCatMucDe Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 It will be implemented in the ADI. I wonder though how useful it would be as it is really hard to read anything from the ADI... At least for me

That's strange, those yellow needles are working for me  I'll redo the ILS landing and take a couple of screenies, to check if we're talking about the same thing
jcbak Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 It is implemented. Both the yellow localizer and glideslope needles come alive. They aren't very bright and nearly impossible to see if you have instrument lights on. spiddx Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Ok then I must have done something wrong. My bad. Specs: i9 10900K @ 5.1 GHz, EVGA GTX 1080Ti, MSI Z490 MEG Godlike, 32GB DDR4 @ 3600, Win 10, Samsung S34E790C, Vive, TIR5, 10cm extended Warthog on WarBRD, Crosswinds
PiedDroit Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 (edited) They're not very bright, especially with panel lighting... Also, check this thread: DCS M2000C ILS Edited January 2, 2016 by PiedDroit
