ScEBlack1 Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Ok i know the game will be separate from lockon flaming cliffs, but, my question is will there still be the flyable planes we have in flaming cliffs F-15,mig,su etc to fly along with the KA50 or will this be only a flyable KA 50.

Now, you add 1.2, and get the Ka-50 and all the bits and pieces that go with it. How is it going to start up? Are we going to have to insert *both* CD's in series so SF can do it's thing? And if not, what's to prevent people installing 1.0, then 1.1 with a copied/borrowed CD, then installing 1.2 and just running it from that CD? And if that is the case, why not drop the whole SF thing entirely? We're already sold on this whole LOMAC thing, they'll definately be getting *my* money! Please note - this is NOT an anti SF post, I'm just curious about the mechanics of it. Just thought I'd be clear, especially after that GTR2 post (thanks for that info) got deleted, and the second one locked.

I am not sure whether a decision has been made yet in regards to the Lock-on > -FC > -BS integration, so I would wait and see what happens. This must be a new thing, because there are MANY OT discussions on the forum, GTR2 related or not, also with all due respect alfa.. many GTR2 discussions have been done as well and NOT deleted. There is no anti-SF talk whatsoever. I dont see why it wouldnt just ask you to put in both CDs... since it only asks for it 1ce a week they may have you put in FC cd ... it launches the game... then if you pick to fly the KA50 it asks you to put in the other CD. or vise versa.. start with Black Shark CD, then if you pickthe Su25T then it asks you for FC CD... or alternatively.. you put in FC CD.. it says OK... asks for BS cd.. you put in BS cd and it says ok and launches the game... you are set for a week.. do it in a week again... 52 times a year. older multi CD games would do things like that.. for example Baldurs Gate would ask you for CD#1 after you put it in it would ask for the Expansion CD.. if you put it in it would start the game... alternatively if you started with exapsnion CD it would ask you for CD#1 and after you put it in launch the game. You would have to do that eveyr time you ran the game... luckaly here you will only have to do it 1ce a week
