Nerd1000 Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) Destroying some ground units (The T-90 is one example, but the bug has occurred with other units as well- I'm not entirely sure which ones) causes my game to CTD. This does not occur with every instance of that vehicle- I've watched several tanks explode before the crash occurred, and while it occurs in both Single player and Multiplayer missions it never crashes other players in MP servers. I've attached the contents of my logs folder logs.zip Edited January 7, 2016 by Nerd1000 formatting

Nerd1000 Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 Thanks for the logs, I see you are using steam, have you tried to integrity check DCS yet? Yes. The Integrity check re-downloaded 4 files, but this did not resolve the issue. The problem seems to be at its worst when you use cluster munitions, but that might just be because they can kill a lot of vehicles at once. The logs were collected after using a CBU-97 against some tightly packed tanks. I just tried to replicate that, and found that the chance of a crash seems heavily related to the number of vehicles destroyed. When I killed 3 tanks with a CBU, no crash. When I killed 8 tanks, I got a crash.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted January 7, 2016 ED Team Posted January 7, 2016 we do have an open crash report for cbu's in our bug tracker, so it may be that. Forum rules - DCS Crashing? I've had similar crashes with RBK-250s and dumb rockets, but those crashes may have been unrelated. For now I'll avoid employing cluster munitions in general.
