LockOn Flaming Cliffs dosen't start up

Hi,

 

I've purchased the web version of LockOn Flaming Cliffs. I've reinstall LockOn 1.0, upgrade to 1.02 and after that install 1.1 and 1.12a pach. I have activate it with no problem. But when it comes time to try it surprise: I get an windows center on my screen (about 640x480) that stay unpainted, and I hear the sounds of LockOn, nothing more. What's happend? Seams that the windows screen size isn't get corected. How can I fix that?

 

My hardware configuration:

P4 2.8 GHz HT FSB 800

2 Gb DDR 400

nVidia 6600 GT TDH

You shouldn't have installed the 1.02 patch.

 

Uninstall LockOn completely - delete its folder (don't leave any files there)

 

Correct installation precedure:

1.0->1.1_FC->(seazonal pack)->(movie pack)->1.12a_patch

 

I hope that fixes it, if not, you have some other issue there.

also make sure you download the right 1.12a patch. I believe there are 3 versions- 2 for Lock On gold (one of them is UK version or something). and the last one should be yours- the download version.

On lockon.ru site it says that 1.1 could be installed over any version of LockOn (1.0, 1.01, 1.02). I have unistalled completly the 1.02 version

I'm a new bee for LOMAC & LOFC; I have exactly the same problem with Firefox as well, by using the same graphic card, which is 6600GT but AGP version. I'm just checking this forum to seek any usable solution.

 

I haven't try so called "correct installation" procedure as you mentioned above, I'll try then comback to you later.

 

My gears:

Windows XP Professional Edition / DirectX 9.0c

P4.2.6 GHz OC to 3.2 GHz

Ram: DDR 400, 2Gb

Display card: Asus N6600GT AGP with 128mb Ram, driver version: Force ware 71.89

Mother board: ASUS P4P800

Power Supply: 400w

 

Just curious, are there any one who using N6600GT have this kind of problem?

 

As I said, I'll try the procedure then come back a report to you, hope I can solve this problem as soon as I can and get my ass into sky:D

Same problem here, nvidia 6600 too (93.71 Forceware driver)

Ubisoft's version start correctly, but Falming Cliffs (1.1) or 1.12 patch don't work. I'm using the Evolved UK Lomac Gold version.

Lomac starts the ugly "music", and a 640x480 window. Only mouse cursor realize there is an app because it change to a colored cursor, but nothing more happens.
