Mission 8 problems

Hi everyone.

I've just tried a copule of times mission 8 (the one where you have to kill the stolen armors), and I encountered some problems: except for Mavs, the other weapons seems useles. GBU-12 and guns always miss (and no: laser code , lasing time... everything was correct).

I think that maybe is caused by the wind.

However I missed with GBUs both moving targets and stationary one (the one given with bullseye distance). Same for the wingman.

Also the GAU seems laterally deviated from the HUD pointer.

Has anyone encountered the same difficulties?

Is it worth trying to enter the wind data in the laste?

Hey!

My advice below:

 

 

 

1. Make sure you coordinate with wingman and use one Mav on the launcher and other three on tanks. ZU-23 can be destroyed with GBU or cannon, so can the APCs

2. Yes, entering wind should help.

3. For GBU and moving target keep your targeting cross in front of the target, it requires some training but is doable

4. If you loose sight of target make sure to listen to the Georgian chopper it will give you coordinates a few times for each column

5. You can progress the campaign without destroying all the targets if all else fails

BTW: it seems that "the enemy within campaign" is not compatible with sweetFx. With SFX enabled I cannot open it because it doesn't recognise the activation code.

Any suggestion (apart playing it without SFx ...eheh!)?
