The FPM is shifted vertically while banking.

As you can see on this screenshot, it's centered while flying straight and level (watch the VSI)

However, when I started banking, it dropped below the horizon, even though I was slightly climbing during the turn

Without testing on my own, I cannot say off the bat that this is inaccurate, as a bank causes a loss of vertical lift in most aircraft designs. To my knowledge even FBW wouldn't totally compensate for that, but I'll look into this more

Does your VVI and Altimeter back the FPM up? In the bottom photo the VVI looks positive but I don't know if that was changing. I'm assuming your cocern is based in a descrepency between the FPM and those instruments.

As you can see in the beginning of my turn, I keep the FPM centered. In this case my VSI indicated a dive. After leveling out (and still keeping the bank), the FPM was offset.

I think the FPM is correct, it's the HUD horizon line that is not (when you turn the HUD horizon is shifting).

There was a bug report about it a while ago, try using rudder and the HUD horizon should be affected even more.

On your video, when you are level, the HUD horizon line is above earth horizon, but when you bank it is right under it.

The HUD horizon line is at the same altitude as your aircraft, so when you are high the HUD horizon line should be high too.

This would explain the different behaviour when flying high vs flying low, as you can see in the screenshot and the video.

And.. yeah, it's the horizon line that's shifting.

They haven't fixed it yet.

I was banking with the help of the autopilot. complete Altitute hold at the indicated altitude, still, the FPM and horizon line are off.
