Jackdaws Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Hi all, When submitting a ticket in user support, roughly how long should i expect to wait before getting a reply? Thanks! My Files..... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Phantom453 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Depending upon the problem you have you might want to try posting your issue here in the first instance for a quick fix. Plenty of very smart people on these forums with a broad range of experience (unfortunately I'm not one of them). As far as tickets go, I've had them answered in a day or two, through to ones that have stayed unanswered for over six months. I haven't tested it lately, because as I said, the guys around here normally have the answer you need.

Phantom453 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 If you don't get a response to your ticket you might try approaching one of the moderators for help. I had an issue with not being able to activate one of my modules. I waited about a month on my ticket, including several hasteners, with no response. I then approached one of the mods about it and he had a fix back to me almost straight away. Turned out to be a Windows registry issue. Occasionally when I have had a difficult problem I couldn't fix, after doing a bit of research on the forums about the issue I have identified individual/s who seems to have a particularly high level of knowledge on that area. I have then sent them a PM explaining the problem and asking if they were able to help. Not once has anyone here ever declined to help as much as they could. Might be worth a try.

Yeah, i still have had no reply. And your right, asking people is the best way. I did all this well over a month ago. So i thought to try the ticket option... ill try the mod next. thanks again. Jackdaws Posted February 16, 2016 Author Posted February 16, 2016 I started my ticket on the 25th of Jan, I finally got a reply on the 5th of Feb, but was not given any information to my problem. I was simply asked a question that I promptly replied to... Ive heard nothing since. Im a little upset. Ive invested a lot of money and time into DCS. Ive never had a ticket before either.. ive always made the effort to ask the community for help without bothering anyone else. I do feel a little badly done by. Hopefully this post will prompt a reply to my ticket? My Files..... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
