Contrails

Not sure when exactly this started , but since 1.5 last patch certainly , maybe before .... I no longer see aircraft contrails, missile or rocket smoke trails. Everything else seems fine ... Is there an ingame graphics setting that might effect this ...

Interesting... Only thing I can think of is the game files being messed up somewhere. Maybe try reinstalling if you have the time?

Try a repair instead, installer checks all files and replaces any broken ones.

Much faster then a full re-install.

 

Go to the following folder;.......VVVV Beta in your case

\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\bin

 

Hold shift and rightclick in the folder, select the "open command window here"

option from the dropdown menu.

 

Then, in the CMD window that pops up type the following;

 

dcs_updater.exe repair

 

Should fix any broken files.

It may also stop certain mods from working if they modify game files.

Just re-install the mods if that's the case.

Still no joy ... contrails, missile trails and pod smoke !! ... nada!
