Pineapple Pete Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 So, I am still learning DCS and I like to build missions so that I can work on developing certain skills. Today, I set about to build a mission that starts at 21:00 as I want to fly in the dark and complete an ILS. When I went to fly the mission, I get a map and the mission doesn't start. I have built other mission with the default start time with no problems. Now today, rather than the mission starting, all I see is the map. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Many thanks, BTW, I write this thread after looking in vain in the manual and reading through the forums and finding nothing. It is always best to not fly too fast or fly too slow. So I fly half fast. :D
feefifofum Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 (edited) Here you go. Don't know what you're doing without seeing the .miz. EDIT: After some thought, I expect what happened is you set the start time for the flight and not the mission. If the mission starts at 12 noon, and the flight starts at 2100, 9 in-game hours will have to pass before the aircraft is available.ILS Practice for A-10C, F-15C, M-2000C.mizILS Practice for A-10C, F-15C, M-2000C - Low Visibility.miz Edited February 7, 2016 by feefifofum THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
Pineapple Pete Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 Hi There Mr. Fum I figured it must be something like that but I looked and couldn't find a place to set the different times. Out flying IRL tonight but hope to see you on the 355th this week. Thanks It is always best to not fly too fast or fly too slow. So I fly half fast. :D
Pineapple Pete Posted February 11, 2016 Author Posted February 11, 2016 Once again it is feefifofum to the rescue. I didn't realize that the mission start time was actually initiated in the mission briefing. Thanks! It is always best to not fly too fast or fly too slow. So I fly half fast. :D
