Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I guys, after a few days with the x52 pro all was working fine...today, I used some of the apps for testing joys (joy tester, freq meter, etc. and maybe it doesnt have anything to do with them) and now every time I un plug and then plug again the joy, the screen (mfd) says "shift" mode is enabled ...the thing is that its NOT enabled (by pushing pinky nor stuck) and if I push pinky, it works perfectly fine as "real" shift state but the MFD is stuck with the "shift" label... I can get rid of it by disabling the profile and enabling it again but I would like to get it to work fine again if possible... it happens every time I unplug and plug again, even when no proifile is selected. I have tried cleaning the initial profile, renaming it, closing app, etc...no success.. Any help would be welcome guys!! Take a look at my MODS here

I had this problems some time back, I fixed by cleaning the ps/2 connector going into the throttle body, the whole connection is quite dodgy, but a bit of cleaning and pushing in and out of the plug several times has fixed it, also updated my win8.1 drivers and SST to v7.0.47 My Stick has had several years of use. Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 Thanks!, I have unplug and re plug the conectors and it still the same (also, the joy is brand new)...it happened suddenly after testing with some joystick software...I completely unistalled everything and installed again (drivers, software, etc.) still the same. Also, as I said, as soon as I reload ANY profile, the problem get solved so Im 99,9% sure is a software problem. I also noticed when unistalling everything as explained in this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=84295 that when installing again, for some reason the joystick/software REMEMBERS the profiles (even when I had deleted them) so...its clear that even erasing folders manually, cleaning registry and after that using CCleaner is NOT enough to completely delete EVERYTHING related with the joy... So, any more ideas?? Take a look at my MODS here
JINX_1391 Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 (edited) Hola! I've found that 90% of the problems I have with the X52 Pro can be solved this way: 1) My Computer > Control Panel > Devices > X52 > Properties (right click) a. From here, for your specific issue, look for the MFD tab. Should be some enable/disable check boxes 2) Something in DCS is conflicting with the X52. Typcially this is solved by clearing everything out of the X52 column before setting up the profile in DCS. Edit Spoke before I researched! Just found this; Try changing the mode selector on the stick, it should change the profile on the MFD - hopefully to a non-shift profile. Cheers! Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 Thanks man!! I tried with the mode selector but still the same...also I cant find anything MFD related in devices tab.... Anyway, as I said, the problem is NOT in DCS, as its present when plugging the joy to the system... Take a look at my MODS here
