Doum76 Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Greetings guys, Am i the only one having prblem to save my custom starting view, it works with all other aicraft, besides the Mirage, i do Right-ALT+) it saves, all is good, but when i quit mission, once i get back in a mission, it gets back to default view....
Sarge55 Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Did you make this change before setting your custom snap view? DisableSnapViewsSaving = true (change to false). It's in this folder \DCS World\Config\View\View.lua [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7 10700K OC 5.1GHZ / 500GB SSD & 1TB M:2 & 4TB HDD / MSI Gaming MB / GTX 1080 / 32GB RAM / Win 10 / TrackIR 4 Pro / CH Pedals / TM Warthog
PiedDroit Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 There should be an option in DCS, something like "allow custom snapview saving", I guess it controls the same flag.

It's in this folder \DCS World\Config\View\View.lua I think you had to do this in older versions of DCS World, not sure, but in other words, i have never done in in 1.26 if i remember but for sure never done it in 1.5 nor 2.0, and i do have this issue with the Mirage only, all other modules keeps teh save i make. But yeah i tried it yesterday and change it for false and no joy :)
Doum76 Posted February 11, 2016 Author Posted February 11, 2016 Found the prob, i had this issue with a friend of mine's mission, well i opn the trak in the Me and save the mission, so either there is a corruption in the mission or it doesn't allow snapview saving, but i created a mission of mine and works.
Sarge55 Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Thanks for sharing the solution Doum76. Good to know. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7 10700K OC 5.1GHZ / 500GB SSD & 1TB M:2 & 4TB HDD / MSI Gaming MB / GTX 1080 / 32GB RAM / Win 10 / TrackIR 4 Pro / CH Pedals / TM Warthog
