R-828 (VHF 1) Radio Doesn't work at all.

(I have searched some threads regarding radio issues, but i couldn't find a right one having a same problem as i do. so forgive me for starting a new thread)

 

I've used "KA-50 JTAC MOD " (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=93228), which makes black shark use a JTAC function, through R-828 VHF 1 radio in 1.2.X

 

and now i just installed 1.5.3 on my computer & found that a VHF 1 radio doesn't work all.

 

i set a frequency of a stryker IFV as 31 Mhz (am/fm both) with reference to following file.

 

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\Ka-50\Cockpit\Scripts\R-828\R-828.lua

 

then made the stryker transmit a message in form of wave file, which sounds perfectly fine through R-800 VHF 2(am/fm) radio.

 

is there any one else having a same issue? it would be really appreciated if you give a little hint or tip for this issue.

The issue is a feature that has been implented to the mission editor since the JTAC mod was released. There you can set the frequencies for the R-828, but most mission designers don't use it and it remains on the default settings.

 

Unfortunately, these settings override the R-828.lua that comes with the JTAC mod.

 

It works if used with the R-800 or if you set the frequencies in the ME properly

I am having same problems with the mod (have it for 1.5.3) even if i set the freq for R-828 on the editor. Jtac set for FM30 and 31 then i set r-828 for chn 5 & 6, 30 & 31. but they dont work in mission.

It should work ok with the latest version of the mod.

I think that's the one i have. It is JSGME compatible and had 3 folders with it, I have selected only the Ka50 mod.

You need to activate the "master module" of the mod and after the Ka-50 part of the mod.
