PiedDroit Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 In Mirage I can't use any frequencies below 118.00 Mhz and above 143.00 Mhz. Is this intended? It seems yes, so far I have only this: Hey, Ad 1. V/UHF works between 118 and 143.975 MHz, UHF works between 225 and 399.975 MHz. It is normal and as in the real plane. Ad 2. I don't think TACAN for S-3B will work at all, AFAIK it is not TACAN capable. Ad 3. It seems so, but I think it is bound to change. Cheers!
baltic_dragon Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 It seems correct, though TBH it should work as follows: V/UHF: between 118.00 - 143.975 and between 224 - 399.975 (combining capabilities of both V and UHF radios) UHF: between 225 - 399.975 Something to be confirmed. We will check. "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. I assume that 224 is a typo (225?). Otherwise, seems reasonable to me as frequencies at or above 144 are reserved for amateur/satellite applications. I found that in ERCRep025.pdf - European Table of Frequency Allocations (google it)
baltic_dragon Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I confirm, V/UHF work on both VHF and UHF frequencies. And yes, it was a typo, should be 225 as in my original post quoted by you!
