Hi all

I dont know if its clear but i want to ask this.

I install DCS 1.5. Will this update to 2.0 in near future or i have to install 2.0 alpha and keep updating till goes to 2.0 release and then uninstall 1.5?

If i install now 2.0 openalpha do i have to activate again the modules.

Thanks in advance and appologies if this is answered in the past. I couldnt find an answer

DCS 1.5 will be updated to 2.x in the future (both, the open beta and the release branch) as soon as the Black Sea map is ready for it.

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

DCS 1.5 will be updated eventually to 2.0.

DCS 2.0 alpha does not require new activations for the modules that are already installed (and activated) in 1.5. (exception: due to some sort of bugs, this might not be true for the MiG-21 right now. Read up about it on the Leatherneck forums)

DCS 2.0 alpha does need(!) the NTTR map module - which is not free ... and thus have to be bought and activated.

I was searching through the forums with similar questions. I noticed my DCS is updated to 1.5 and was wondering if I would have to buy something to upgrade to 2.0 in the future.

Almost looked like a requirement would be to buy the Nevada Test range map?

Once the Caucasus map is integrated into DCS 2.0 you won't need to buy anything to play it.

DCS 1.5 is basically DCS 2.0 without the multi- map support.

For now 2.0 only works with Nevada, which is paid DLC.
