I'm working on this mission where you engage terrorists firing random grad rockets into an airfield and surroundings. I guess we will have more such missions in BS. It is meant to be played without labels, of course, youhunt for the grads with Mk1 Eyeball.

Making this kind of mission, there are somethings I miss in the editor:

- we really should be able to have "rogue forces" instead of the countries, with a mix of weapons available. Now I had to use Ukraine for the bad guys, sorry!

- it should be nice if you could move the grad to a next point after firing. This seems not to work: moving grads don't fire.

- it should be possible to make objects disappear after a while.

The Briefing:

Terrorist groups are using captured Ukrainian Grad rocket launchers to wreck havock in the region. They are targetting randomly the airfield and its surroundings, with contempt for civilian life.

Well hidden in small villages in a circle of about 19 km, they launch from several directions. The waypoints come from intelligence where they might hide. Also look in the sky for launch traces.

You and your wingman are tasked to hunt them and take them out before they launch their next salvos.

Be aware that they are sometimes protected by igla's.

Army vehicles are circulating in the area in search of these thugs, so do not mistakingly engage them. Also take into account the bad guys use decoy static grad objects; do not waste your missiles on them.

Avoid collateral damage to the villages these crooks use for their vile activities.

Hope you enjoy!

Nice mission. I edited it a bit, exchanged A-10:s to SU-25 vanilla and changed it to a 2 player multiplayer mission. Test flew it with a mate, had fun. Difficulty maybe went up a notch after changing plane type. Maybe someone else wants to fly the same mission?

Many thanks, Carlos73,

This is a real nice one! The Su-25 is indeed the weapon of choice for the discerning pilot!
