While playing tonight, I selected a mixed loadout of 2xmagics, 2x530s, 2xGBU-12s, 2xMk82 Snakeyes and a centre fuel tank.

But in the PCA, only MAG, 530, EF1 and RP were displayed meaning I could not use the Snakeyes as there was no BF1. Is this correct meaning that only one type of A2G munition can be used or should BF1 have been displayed in the PCA as well?

To clarify this mission was in 1.5.3 and no cockpit mods were used.

System Specs: i7 8700k @ 5.0GHz (not delidded), ASRock Extreme4 Z370 MOBO, EVGA GTX 1080 SC 8GB, 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, Samsung Evo 240GB SSD, Samsung Evo 500GB SSD, 1TB HDD, Noctura NH-D15S Heat Sink, Acer VE278H 27" 1080p Monitor, Ocukus Rift CV1.

Controllers: TrackIR 5, Thrustmaster HOTAS X, Saitek Throttle Quadrant (with DIY removable collective mod), Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals.

Just trying to keep my number of takeoffs and landings equal!

I always assumed you can only carry one type of Ground Ordinance otherwise the Balistic Computer in the Mirage Goes abit haywire. It says this pretty much in the Manual but i have seen guys run rockets and Mk82SE combo loads and not have any problems. I also have tried currently and didnt seem to have a problem. Is this an ok Load out to do???

The behaviour for mixed A-G loadouts is basically "undefined". I think the only guarantee Razbam are willing to make at this stage is that the game won't actually crash. So if you find a combination that results in a crash you can definitely report that as a bug, but anything else is beyond the specifications.

Since the avionics don't support mixed A-G loads, it's impossible to say what the simulator should do if people do it anyway. At the moment it seems like Mk82 variants mask eachother so you can only select and release one type, but completely different wespons will be recognised and work normally. But I don't think the implementation is completely finalised yet, so things may change.

I had it happen to me where I only selected 4 Gbu-12 to load but they did not ended up showing

What I discovered that if you don't let the ground crew say "Rearm complete" the weapons you put on the planes won't show on PCA dunno why

This Loadout did not use any similar ordnance since GBUs are not similar to Unguided bombs and they each have separate selections on the PCA. In an NTTR mission I have I created I have been using magics, gbu-12s and Mk-82s as a Loadout and all these weapon types show up on the PCA so I know that guided munitions and unguided bombs can be used also alongside each other. So how come I couldn't use both bomb types in the situation described in post 1?

Do certain combinations not work together?

Is the aircraft limited to 4 munition types including external fuel tanks?

Is this a bug?

The aircraft weapons manager cannot handle more than one type for AG weapon. You can load any kind of AG mix you like but functionality is not guaranteed and this is by design in order to discourage it. Some loads work, some don't. All I'm doing is make sure that the system remains stable and does not produce a CTD (crash to desktop).

It is a bother, I know, but the real aircraft has this limitation and we are abiding by those limitations.

you can't mix load on the on the 4x belly slots or on the wing pylons

so for example

you can have 4x snakes on the Belly, 2x gbu on the center, and mk 82 on the wings

but in the op first post he has

missiles & fuel on the pylons but has mixed on belly of 2x gbu & 2x snakes

which is incompatable with the PCA it'll only recognise 1x munition type at each of the store segments - Belly, Pylon, Centre line, wingtip
