IvanK Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 (edited) 1.5.3.51171 With the radar in STT (PIC) the radar antenna elevation marker on the VTB does not move to reflect current antenna elevation. I would have thought in STT (PIC) as antenna elevation changes then so should the antenna elevation marker on the VTB. How to replicate Set up a head on target say 6000m high Maintain your altitude lock the target continue towards the target. Naturally TGT actual elevation increases as range reduces. Antenna elevation marker remains fixed. TRK demonstrating the bug attached. Single Bar scan. Target ends up 30Degrees high in STT with Antenna elevation marker still on 0degAntelevtrk.trk Edited March 12, 2016 by IvanK 1
fjacobsen Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I also assume that when in STT and with ±15° and ±30° azimuth, the arc should center on the locked target. Right now the scan arc might point fully to the right f.ex, but the locked target is at the left edge, though outside the scan arc. Pikey Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 (edited) I noticed this too but in AZIMUTH. If you lock something on your nose then manuever in azimuth say 20 degree right, the track and line remains exactly where it was on your nose, throughout the manouever and then freezes and if you then level out there seems to be a JOLT then it may do one of two things....it may drop the lock or it may snap to where you expect it to be after a delay of a second or more. This can have an adverse effect on holding locks and will prevent manouevering with a lock and of course defensive moves and cranks which are key, suffer. Thanks Edited March 12, 2016 by Pikey ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *
