Why does the plane veer right after take off?

With neutral rudders - shouldn't the plane veer to the left - because of gyroscopic precession?

Or do these props rotate the other way?

I guess it is the wind from your right ....

As you get airborne, you easo on the additional application of left rudder to overcome it, and also the aircraft weathervanes ... ( right in this case ).

The key point here is when you roll down the runway there's a set of forces acting on the aircraft. They are more or less balanced except the resultant forward force which causes you to accelerate forward. When you lift off you remove two of the forces: ground reaction forces for the left and right gear. You cannot expect it to not have an effect on the resultant force in some lateral imbalance because they don't act strictly in the longitudinal plane and the gear contact points are not at the same location as the center of gravity of the aircraft to top that.

Could you post a video of it?

The IA Takeoff mission has light windy conditions set up. I suggest investigating the behavior in 0 wind conditions.

This was mainly operator error + also rudder settings.

All good now.
