Charley Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Sorry if this has already been asked, I couldn't find this topic in the forum. Whenever I try the dogfight mission in "instant action , P 51 vs P 51" , my P51 immediately trims the elevator nose down as far down as it can go. This happens while the other P51 flies over me and my view finishes its really annoying initial view adjustment., that I can't control. I can't even correct this control input of the trim going fully down until the program is done going through this initial view adjustment. I can see the cockpit trim wheel moving down, but it's nothing I'm doing. Is there a way to get my P51 to start the quick mission just trimmed to neutral, instead of starting in a dive? Hopefully, thanks for any advice.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted March 16, 2016 ED Team Posted March 16, 2016 (edited) Have you checked for conflicts in your control inputs? if you can please attach a track showing this behaviour. thanks Edited March 16, 2016 by BIGNEWY Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Stacker Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 As BIGNEWY says, control conflicts can cause this. Perhaps you have multiple controllers connected to your PC? (I find that my Yoke & X52 don't play nicely with each other so I only run one of them at a time depending on the sim I'm using. If I have both connected then I get an uncommanded full deflection in one axis). Also, check for a rogue/incorrect axis assigned to your trim. i7-4790K@4.7GHz : EVGA 1070 SC : 16GB Corsair Vengence Pro : 2xEVO 840 SSD : EVGA 850W PSU : CORSAIR H100i Cooler : ASUS Z97-AR MB : CORSAIR OBSIDIAN 750D FULL TOWER
