DCS does not recognize X55 ministick, but other games do?

So, i've just noticed that Evochron: Legacy recognizes the ministick on my X55 throttle as a pair of usable input axiis. Is there any way to get DCS to do the same?

I was on the Elite forums and found a reg fix for it and it works in DCS too.
