Mission 6 JTAC in middle of Enemy Group

[Xxx]

In Mission 6, the JATAC "Moonbeam", was in the middle of the northern target group. My 97's took it out and I committed fratricide?:cry:

 

Either I was slow getting to the target and the enemy had surrounded our JTAC or else the JTAC is badly positioned. (M1043 Unit)

 

Naturally I can not see his position during the attack, but would presume he is not mixed up with the enemy? Otherwise a good mission.

 

Edit. Only by using TACVIEW did I see what had gone wrong! TACVIEW is highly recommended!:thumbup:

 

Also, may I say that if we could edit these missions ( for our own personal use and not for any form of re distribution) the enjoyment and learning factor would be increased, in my honest opinion.

If I'm not mistaken, aren't friendlies highlighted in the HUD with a green X or something along those lines?

Yes they are, but he tell you to use 97's on the targets around him. The 97 doesn't care about the fact he's a friendly.
