Hey, fellas.

Question regarding the Apg-63 display in the real F-15C:

Does the radar actually display circles and rectangles for IFF purposes when displaying contacts as it is simulated in DCS or is this just an FC3-esque feature?

Nope, the real thing does it as well

Cool. Is it using the engine-fan-reflection library that NCTR employs, or typical transponder driven IFF interrogation (or something else)?

Automagic IFF.

Also, NCTR doesn't have any aspect limitations in-game... :( (it is limited to 25nmi and can't ID targets at the gimbal, though.)

There's no reason for NCTR to be aspect limited without knowing the technology used.

It could be using the JEM for NCTR, it could be using other things ... and it could also be fusing information.

(And BTW, F-15 has a third AAI (IFF if you prefer) symbol in RL ... 'enemy')

I tend to think that the 80s/90s radars would use JEM, but yeah, you're right.....Its an assumption.
