Kev2go Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 ever since the recent patch iv had issues with wheel breaks and drag chute, it only happens after take off. I can still deploy the drag chute chute and use the breaks fine prior to take off. but after flying around a bit and going back to land the wheel breaks and drag chute just dont seem to respond. Never had this problem before. my default setting for the wheel brake is W on the keyboard and P for the chute, but clicking the actual chute button still doesnt make it respond. Are you returning the gear lever to the neutral position after take-off? If not, you might be bleeding off your hydraulic pressure during the flight (if I have that right). Something to check, there are more and more "gotchas" reaching full implementation on the MiG. Interestingly, I also found that the RSBN switch is now in the off position be default (used to be on by default). I keep thinking there is a bug, then looking down and seeing it off. Maybe this is something similar. -Nick
Kev2go Posted April 4, 2016 Author Posted April 4, 2016 yes I have read the manual a while back, Ive flown mig21 since initial release, but this never happened before, so i initially assumed it was a bug. i guess this is a recent implementation of additional functions? and or issues? ah well thanks for explanation though. It works all fine now.
