Ratcatcher Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 (edited) EDIT - I think I have sorted it out by using the Saitek Control Software and assigning the Axis as bands. ( Should anyone else be wondering.... ) Hey all, Hopefully a simple solution but its beat me! I want to use my quadrant levers ( 3 x axis controllers ) as switches in order to have them activaye 2 of the flight controls - flaps ( up/down ) and emergency air brake lever in the F86 Sabre. My problem is that as they are axis controls so I can not assign them to switch controls. Hope this makes sense, can anyone help? Thanks! P.S Im running win 10 and have updated the drivers so the quadrant is calibrated and working OK. 1.JaVA_Platypus Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Great solution. Only, what kind of thrust control do you have? Happy Flying! :pilotfly:
Ratcatcher Posted April 4, 2016 Author Posted April 4, 2016 Great solution. Only, what kind of thrust control do you have? I have a hog throttle so was using that for er...throttle. :D The reason I wanted to use the Saitek is it more closley resembles the controls on the sabre, as it has a lever for flaps rather than a switch. Unfortunatley although the banding assignment worked, for what ever reason the movement of the axis levers kept freezing the controls in game unless the levers were kept in a neutral position, no idea why that would be. So at the moment I have reverted back to the Hog as the main controller for everything, which is a shame as I quite liked using the levers.
