Jacks Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 So I have a .mdl model that I would like to port into DCS (yes I have the author's permission) so I converted the .mdl to .obj and imported it into blender. The problem is that none of the triangular faces in the model are connected and all move independently, it seems that each face has its own set of vertices with multiple vertices sitting over each other where the edges/faces meet. Any ideas how to import the model with single vertices between faces? Or will I have to merge the co-located vertices into one? Also I cannot find a way to select all of the co-located vertices at once. Any ideas? Jacks Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 Really? I don't see any mention of it in the forum rules and surely trying to add a non-commercial model from another sim is just like adding any other user made model. This little project is likely to take more than 6 months as only the physical model can be used with the requirement to retexturing and apply materials, re-animate and write a flight model.
