Separate file for customized Nav Station w/o worrying update/repair

For each map (Caucasus, NTTR, etc), can ED add an extra file named Beacon_custom.lua which is un-versioned in DCS repo?

 

Then players can add NDB, TCN, VOR, VORTAC etc as they wish and no need to modify the versioned files (Beacons.lua). Then during update/repair, they dont need to worry about copy/paste to restore those modifications?
